Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 19, 2026.

1. What We Collect

MpatiQ collects only what is necessary to operate the system.

This includes:

  • Email address (used as an identity anchor)
  • Claims you submit
  • Time-bounded windows associated with those claims
  • Email addresses of witnesses you invite to reflect
  • Reflections submitted by witnesses you invite
  • Basic interaction data required to operate the system
  • Payment-related information for certification services, processed by a third-party payment provider. MpatiQ does not store full payment details.

2. How Your Data Is Used

Your data is used to operate MpatiQ as a system of structured claims, time-bounded windows, and reflections.

  • To associate claims with an identity
  • To allow invited witnesses to submit reflections
  • To preserve relationships between claims, windows, and reflections
  • To maintain the integrity and functioning of the system

MpatiQ may perform limited internal processing to maintain, secure, and improve the system's functionality, without repurposing user data beyond its original structural role within the system.

MpatiQ does not use your data to generate scores, rankings, or behavioral predictions.

3. What MpatiQ Does Not Do

  • MpatiQ does not sell your data
  • MpatiQ does not provide your data to advertisers
  • MpatiQ does not use your data to rank or score individuals

4. Data Storage and Processing

MpatiQ stores data securely using third-party infrastructure providers.

These providers process data only as necessary to host and secure the system, and do not use it for independent purposes.

MpatiQ takes reasonable steps to protect data from unauthorized access, loss, or misuse.

MpatiQ does not authorize third-party providers to use your data for independent analysis, advertising, or profiling.

While no system can guarantee absolute security, MpatiQ is designed to minimize unnecessary data exposure.

5. Reflections and Context

Reflections are tied to specific claims and specific time-bounded windows.

MpatiQ preserves this context and does not repurpose reflections outside of their original scope.

Interpretation of reflections remains with the viewer.

6. Data Retention

MpatiQ is designed to preserve historical structure rather than erase or overwrite it.

Content you submit may be retained as part of the system’s record, even if your activity changes over time.

Retention is tied to preserving the structure and continuity of claims, windows, and reflections within the system. This may include retaining historical relationships between claims, windows, and reflections even if activity becomes inactive.

Future versions of MpatiQ may provide more explicit controls for data access and removal.

7. Your Responsibility

You are responsible for the information you choose to submit to MpatiQ.

You should only provide contact information for individuals you have a legitimate and appropriate basis to invite as witnesses.

You should not submit sensitive or confidential information that you do not wish to be stored or associated with your identity.

8. Changes to This Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated over time. When material changes are made, MpatiQ will take reasonable steps to make those changes visible, and the “Last updated” date will reflect the current version.

MpatiQ does not introduce material changes in a way that avoids user awareness.
